About Us

Godliman was founded in September 2000 as a values-driven, intelligence-focused Executive Search boutique, to provide retained recruitment services to the Asset Management sector.  Our first office was in Godliman Street EC4, in The City of London; hence our name.
In June 2009, we strengthened our brand with the hiring of Stuart Chilvers and his team from Gladstone Taylor.  Stuart brought particular expertise in the buy-side sales and distribution area, with a strong track record of hiring across Consultant Relations, Institutional and Wholesale Sales and Client Account Management.
In 2010, Godliman entered into a strategic partnership with Enabling Change, to provide team and leadership assessment, succession planning and coaching services to our clients.
In 2014, Godliman entered into a strategic partnership with Dallas-based Attacca International, to provide a global Acquisitions and Team Lift-out service to our clients.
In 2015, we extended our search capabilities to North America by opening our New York office.
Over the last 14 years we have successfully completed more than 300 senior assignments, weathering the Financial Crisis of 2008, to become the largest Asset Management Executive Search Practice in Europe,  with 17 employees focusing exclusively on the Asset Management sector.
Godliman is led by four Senior Consultants, each specialising in a specific segment of the market.  Each consultant is supported by a dedicated Senior Associate and an Associate.  We also have four full time Knowledge Managers, who work on maintaining our proprietary knowledge base, ensuring our market research is always up to date.
