Christian Staub has been appointed by Fidelity International as Managing Director of its Continental European business.

Staub will join the company on the 6th August and will be based in Luxembourg, reporting to interim President Simon Haslam. He will be succeeding Jon Skillman, who will be moving into a new role in the company.

Staub had previously spent 4 years at BlackRock Investment Management, where he held a number of senior European Distribution roles including Head of Institutional Client Business for Continental Europe and Switzerland Country Head. Prior to that, he worked at Allianz Global Investors and PIMCO.

Haslam said: “Staub has experience of running sizeable distribution businesses and a deep understanding of the needs of European institutional and wholesale clients.
