OFI Asset Management hires Amundi Equity team

OFI Asset Management, the Paris-based fund house, has hired a team of five from Amundi Asset Management to create a new Equity and Convertibles investment unit.

Eric Turjeman was previously Deputy Global Head of Equities at Amundi, a position he had held since 2010, and will now lead the team of four portfolio managers; Olivier Baduel, Beryl Bouvier Di Nota, Corinne Martin and Jean-Charles Naudin.

Olivier Baduel has joined OFI as Head of Large-Cap Equities, having joined Amundi (then Credit Agricole) in 1995 . He was most recently Head of European Equities at Amundi. Beryl Bouvier Di Nota has joined OFI as Head of Small and Mid-Cap Equities, having joined Amundi (then Société Générale) in 1996. She was most recently Head of European Small and Mid-Cap Equities at Amundi.

Corinne Martin has joined OFI as a Large-Cap Equity Fund Manager, to work alongside Olivier Baduel, and Jean-Chalres Naudin has joined OFI as a Small and Mid-Cap Equity Fund Manager, to work alongside Beryl Bouvier.

OFI now boasts 12 managers on their Convertible Equity team, and 10 on their Equity team.

The firm directly invests across Money Markets, Fixed Income, Convertible Bonds, Equities, Alternatives, Absolute Return and Multi-Asset, as well having Multi-Manager capabilities across long-only, Private Equity and Alternatives.
