Godliman Salary Survey 2012

If you have clicked on the link to this web page, then that means you are considering participating in our Salary Survey for 2012.

To give you comfort, we want to stress that Godliman Partners has a policy of strict compliance to the Data Protection Act 1998.

This means that any information you provide will be used strictly for internal purposes; we will not reveal any individual’s Salary data to any third party without that individual’s express prior consent.

All salaries will be aggregated, in a Stock Chart format, detailing the upper and lower range, as well as the median for that job function, by level of experience.

Once we have completed the salary survey, we will send you a copy of the results in chart format. And, in future, only people who have provided data for the Salary Survey will receive our completed Surveys.

We aim to complete surveys for the buy side only in the following areas:

  • Equity or Fixed Income Investing (Portfolio Managers, Analysts, Strategists, etc);
  • Equity or Fixed Income Product Management;
  • Institutional Sales, Client Relations, Consultant Relations or Client Servicing.
If your job falls outside those areas, we may not receive sufficient data to compile a statistically significant chart, so please contact us first to check.
But, if you do work in one of those areas, please take a moment to enter your salary details below!

Please make sure the Job Function you enter below clarifies what you do, and not your Job Title (ie: Credit Fund Manager, rather than Executive Director, Credit).

Please ensure that you express basic and bonus figures in GBP (Pounds Sterling), or the GBP equivalent if paid in foreign currency.

This is the total bonus figure, including any deferred element, relating to Financial Year 2011, and usually paid at the start of 2012.

This year we are paying particular attention to deferred bonuses and lock-ins. We will be producing a separate chart setting this out. So please could you take a couple of minutes to describe your bonus in more detail.

This year we are aiming to produce a separate chart for Institutional Salespeople indicating which houses have introduced a sales taper system (giving the salesperson a phased bonus for winning and then retaining business over a period of time) and which houses have not. So, if you have one, please click yes and take a couple of minutes to describe the way in which your taper system works in more detail.
